What will happen if I don’t pay for an item someone accepted an offer for? (2024)

@chrispass918,

"What will happen if I don't pay for an item someone accepted an offer for"?

When you send an offer you have to consciously think about it. If it is accepted, you have entered into a contract to pay for it. You are told that when you send the offer. So why would you decide not to pay for it? You sell on ebay, and didn't seem to like it when a buyer didn't pay for one of your items according to your reply to the feedback.

"I just decided to buy the item, I didn’t feel like going through the hassle. The item wasn’t valuable anyway".

If you do not pay you have taken the item off the site. Which could cost the seller a sale. Even if the seller has several of the item 1 less will be available for sale and it cannot be relisted by the seller until they go through the unpaid item process. You should understand that as a seller yourself, so why the So What attitude?
