  • What is the Star One Rewards Program?

    Star One Rewards Program is a rewards program offering points on qualifying purchases. Rewards Points can be redeemed for items, such as e-gift cards/plastic gift cards, airfare, hotels, cash, merchandise, and travel packages.

  • Who is eligible for the Star One Rewards program?

    You must have been approved, received, and activated a Star One Credit Union Visa Platinum Rewards or Visa Signature credit card to be eligible for the Star One Rewards program. Once your card is activated, you will automatically earn Rewards Points with your purchases.

  • How do I earn Rewards Points?

    Every time you use your Visa Platinum Rewards card, you will earn one (1) point for every dollar spent in purchases. Visa Signature card holders will earn one and a half (1.5) points for every dollar spent in purchases. Use your card for everyday purchases and watch your Reward Points add up. Cash advances, fees, finance charges and balance transfers do not earn Reward Points. If you return a purchase and receive credit to your account, those Reward Points will be deducted from your total. Disputed transactions reversed from your account will also be deducted from your Reward Point total.

  • How do I view or redeem my Reward Points?

    • In Online Banking, on the accounts page locate your credit card account, click on the ‘Rewards Points' link. Click on 'Redeem/View' from the pop-up window to access the rewards website.
    • In Mobile Banking, tap on "Cards", tap "Credit Cards" from the top menu, and tap the skewer menu (vertical 3 dots) next to the name of the credit card and tap on the "View/Redeem Rewards Points."

  • Is there a maximum number of Reward Points?

    No.

  • Do my Reward Points expire?

    Yes. Reward Points are good for 5 years through the end of the month from the date earned.

  • Can Reward Points be gifted or transferred to another Platinum Rewards or Visa Signature account?

    Yes. You may gift your Rewards points to other Star One Rewards Accounts and/or Participants. Gifting points is free. You can enter up to a maximum of 50,000 points to gift per transaction. Gifted points carry the same expiration date. They are available for redemption 5 years through the end of the month from the date gifted. A gift point transaction may take up to three business days to process.

  • Can the joint accountholder account redeem Reward Points?

    Yes. Either the primary or joint accountholders may redeem Reward Points for any rewards.

  • What happens to my Reward Points if I close my Platinum Rewards or Visa Signature credit card account?

    We encourage you to redeem your Rewards Points prior to your closing the account. Otherwise, you will lose all Reward Points.

  • How are Reward Points posted to my account?

    Reward Points are posted to your account daily.

  • Who can I contact for assistance or questions about Reward Points?

    Rewards Representatives are available by phone at 1-866-352-1064.

    • Customer service specialists are available Monday through Friday from 8am to 11pm ET and weekends from 8am to 8pm ET. The call center will be closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. On the day before Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day, our call center will have reduced hours of operation.
    • Travel call center hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 10pm ET and weekends from 9am to 5pm ET. The travel center will be closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

  • For what items can I redeem my Reward Points?

    You may redeem your Reward Points in four major categories: travel, cash, e-gift cards/plastic gift cards, and merchandise.

  • When will my eGift card be emailed to me?

    You should receive an order confirmation email from AmpliFI immediately after placing your order. Your eGift card may take up to 72 hours to arrive after ordering. To ensure your confirmation email and eGift card will not be accidentally misplaced to your SPAM folder, please add noreply@vcdelivery.com and gc@vcdelivery.com to your safe senders list. You can always see your orders on the Rewards website in the order status section.

  • Can I ship a physical gift card to a different address or to a P.O. Box?

    Yes, when submitting your order, please enter the address within the “Ship to” address fields. Please be aware that there are fees associated with shipping outside of the contiguous US. If you have any further questions, please call customer service for more information regarding shipping policies.

    Gift cards that are valued under $300 can be delivered to a P.O. Box because they are shipped via First Class US Mail. Prepaid Visa and MasterCards can also be shipped to a P.O. Box. Gift cards that are over $300 cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box because they are shipped via UPS Ground.

  • How do airline redemptions for the Rewards Program work?

    You can redeem your Reward Points for tickets on most major airlines by calling our Rewards Redemption Center at 1-866-352-1064 or online at the Travel Rewards section of this website.

  • Who do I contact if something goes wrong with my flight OR I have to cancel a flight booked through Star One Rewards website?

    You may contact the airline directly. You will receive contact numbers on your flight itinerary, which will be emailed to you after you redeem Reward Points for air travel.

    Tickets are non-changeable and non-refundable. Any changes to the itinerary must be handled directly with the airline listed on your itinerary. You may be subject to fees enforced by the airlines for changes to your flight itinerary.

  • I want to use/accrue my frequent flyer miles; how does that work?

    You can receive airline frequent flyer miles from your redemption by providing your airline frequent flyer number on the Star One Travel Rewards site or to the agent over the phone when you redeem your Reward Points. You must work directly with the airline in question if you forget to provide your frequent flyer number or discrepancies.

    You cannot combine Reward Points and frequent flyer miles at redemption. Star One Rewards program is unique to our credit union, and you can only redeem your Reward Points for rewards. If you have airline miles, you need to work with each individual airline frequent flyer program separately.
