To register for Stripe we need the following information:
STRIPE = SSN or EIN + US ADDRESS + US BANK
In there:
+ SSN: Social Security Number — US social security number.
+ EIN: Employer Identification Number — Employer’s tax identification number or Federal tax identification number.
+ US address: A real address that services can verify and you can receive parcels and letters.
+ Bank in the US: A bank account based in the United States.
The above are the most basic and necessary conditions, but we will need to add other sufficient conditions in the next section.
1 — Register for an EIN
EINs are granted free of charge by the US tax authorities in the following forms: direct submission, by phone or fax, and online. For those who do not live in the US, the best way is by phone +1–267–941–1099, where you will answer the questions of the specialist in turn on the IRS form SS4.

2 — Create a sales page to sign up for the Stripe payment gateway
To sign up for Stripe you need to have a complete sales page full of products and information about your store.

-Domain name
-Email by domain name

3 — Passport
You need to prepare your passport or government-issued citizenship.
4 — Business address in the United States

8 — Sign up for Stripe

- Go to Stripe.com then navigate to the Start Now button to start filling out the registration information. Click Start Now to start your Stripe subscription
- Enter Name, Email, Password
– Country: We will register Stripe US so you will leave it as United States, then click Create Account
– Go to Email to confirm the mail from Stripe sent to you
- After confirming the Email, go to Add business details to activate your account and click Start Now
- You enter the address you purchased in the step above in the following format.
Notice: in the Type of business section, select Individual and then Next
- Enter other information
– Date of birth: Enter the previous month, the next day
– Home Address will automatically save the address in the previous step
– Phone number: Phone number purchased on Free tone
– Social Security number: If you have an SSN, enter it here. In this field we will enter the EIN number that you registered earlier.
- Fill in your sales page information
– Industry: Choose the main field in which you do business
– Business website: enter your sales page domain name in
– Product description: A short description in English about your sales page
- Shipping method options
– If your product is a digital product, in this step you only need to choose the delivery time for the customer.
– If you trade in physical products, you can choose as shown above.
- Customer statement description format
- Link Stripe to a bank account
– This step you must have a Payoneer account. You log in to Payoneer / select Receive / select Global Payment Service
– You select USA then copy the corresponding content to Stripe such as: Routing number, Account number.
- Two-factor verification
This step is to secure your account, you can use security methods like SMS and Authenticator.
However, SMS is not very stable, you should use Authenticator.
- Click Submit and wait for the results. After about 2 business days you will receive a congratulatory letter from Stripe.
