Dikteon Cave is one of the most beautiful and significant caves in Greece and it has received international attention. It is located at the mountain range Dikti, near Psychro village and it is known by many names (Diktaion Andron, Dictaean Cave, Psychro Cave). It is open to the public and walkable.

Nothing cheesy about it. Beautiful views before going down into the cave. My 9 and 12 year old boys rode the donkey down from the cave and loved it. I'm not sure I would drive over an hour round trip for this, but make a day of activities in the area and it is well worth it.
