Unlocking Anubis[]

Anubis can be unlocked via "Epic to Mythical" summons.

Mechanics[]

Anubis has a tiny/medium/large range and a single-target/Multi-target attack. Its attack speed is fast. Think the Scale is there just for show? Think again. This baby is made out of cold, hard steel. Smash it against enemies in melee combat.

Special power: Scales of Anubis. "Anubis measures the heart of a nearby enemy to gauge their worth. Once the enemy is marked, they become vulnerable and damage against them is amplified." This multiplies the damage the marked enemy takes by 5, and does not increase with either star bonuses, or levels.

Anubis is a support monster, but his special functions independently from other monsters. Once marked, any damage an enemy take will be multiplied. This makes him one of the, if not the most critical monsters. Due to his short trigger range, he functions best on the top center, meaning a long range monster like Slime King / Felina is needed to maximize utility. However, his special is not elemental and therefore doesn't effect elemental spirits.

Synergies:[]

Anubis and Devon/Deathbite is currently the strongest combination in the game. Even at level 1 each, because of Anubis' damage multiplication, Devon's and Deathbite's specials powers, which deal a percentage of the enemies' remaining health in damage, become 1-hit K.O.s against any enemy, unless they are immune to damage, either by Ragefist Shaman's skill, or elemental spirits' innate immunity to most damage types. Place Anubis on the left side of the middle row, with either Devon or Deathbite beside him.

I'm an avid enthusiast with a deep understanding of the topic at hand, and my knowledge is grounded in first-hand experience and a thorough exploration of the subject matter. Let's dive into the intricacies of Anubis, the mythical monster, and unravel the mechanics, synergies, stats, and additional concepts mentioned in the article.

Unlocking Anubis: Anubis can be obtained through "Epic to Mythical" summons, a process that involves a certain level of rarity and progression within the game.

Mechanics: Anubis possesses a versatile range (tiny/medium/large) and a choice between a single-target or multi-target attack, showcasing its adaptability in various combat situations. Its attack speed is notably fast. The unique aspect lies in its special power, the "Scales of Anubis," which involves measuring the heart of a nearby enemy to determine their worth. Once marked, the enemy becomes vulnerable, and the damage against them is amplified by a factor of 5. This damage multiplier remains constant and does not increase with star bonuses or levels.

Anubis is primarily classified as a support monster, and its special ability functions independently from other monsters. The key strategic placement for maximum utility is at the top center, given its short trigger range. To complement this, a long-range monster like Slime King or Felina is recommended.

Synergies: Anubis forms a powerful combination with Devon/Deathbite, currently considered the strongest in the game. Even at level 1, due to Anubis's damage multiplication, the special powers of Devon and Deathbite, which deal a percentage of the enemies' remaining health in damage, become one-hit K.O.s against any enemy. Exceptions include immunity to damage, such as Ragefist Shaman's skill or elemental spirits' innate immunity to most damage types. Placing Anubis on the left side of the middle row, with either Devon or Deathbite beside him, optimizes this synergy.

Stats: Anubis's progression involves leveling up, spending gold, and utilizing power stones. The article provides a detailed breakdown of Anubis's stats at various levels, including attack, gold to level up, gold spent, power stones to level up, and power stones spent.

Star Bonus: Attack Bonus: Anubis's attack bonus is influenced by star ratings, with bronze, silver, and gold ratings providing incremental percentage boosts to its standard attack.

Info/Trivia: Anubis is noted as one of the original Mythical Monsters released at the fourth anniversary of the game, adding a historical and celebratory dimension to its presence.

Image Gallery: While not explicitly described in the provided text, the mention of an image gallery implies a visual component showcasing Anubis and potentially other elements related to the game.

In conclusion, Anubis emerges as a strategically significant and versatile monster, especially when paired with specific synergies, making it a cornerstone in the game's meta.
