Can you change leverage on open position?
The leverage cannot be changed in an open position. You can only decide to apply leverage and how much to use when you are opening a new trade.
To maintain system security and stability, our system sets a max position for different leverages. For example, when you trade BNBUSDT and select 20x, the max position you can hold is 250,000 USDT. Higher leverage results in a lower max position and vice-versa.
Click the gear icon on your chosen trading account, and select Change max leverage. The dropdown will allow you to set your leverage, and confirm your selection with Set maximum leverage.

Sadly no, you yourself can't change leverage once the position is open already.
Traders are allowed to add/reduce the margin to a position when under isolated margin mode. This can be done through the positions tab, by clicking on the pencil in the following screenshot and entering the new initial margin to be used for the position.
