Although it’s a newcomer in the LoL scene, U.GG has become a popular choice for players. Here are some of the most notable features that they are known for.
Champions
U.GG provides a page for each champion with info such as builds, counters, and performance statistics like win rate.
The champions are also automated into tier lists for each rank, based on factors such as win rate, pick rate, ban rate, and matches played.
Summoners
Outside of champions, U.GG also allows summoners to see their stats from their matches over the past 6 months.
These summoner stats include their champion pool, expected measures such as KDA, and allow you to filter between different game modes.
Pro Builds
U.GG also has a feature that allows you to search for the builds of LoL professionals and top streamers, similar to the ProBuilds site.
They even include a graph that shows the most played champions around the world which you can filter by specific regions.

What we were missing in U.GG and why we decided to build mobalytics
We built Mobalytics to help every player see comprehensive stats, but also to help make sense of the stats in order to understand themselves and become better players.
While seeing statistics on champions and summoners are certainly useful, they do not always provide a clear picture for what you should do next in order to get better.
It would sort of be like going to a doctor’s visit where they just told you the numbers from your blood test and blood pressure check but didn’t tell you what you needed to do next to improve your health.
Our goal at Mobalytics is not only to provide players with as many useful stats as possible, but also to help interpret the numbers and guide players with advice and direction.
With this in mind, we created our champion pages to not only give statistics about the champ, but also provide guides, tips, and tricks recommended by high-ELO players who main that champion.
We believe that this balance is the key to efficiently climbing for the majority of players, especially those that are new or do not have the experience to understand why they are using certain builds and how to use them.

Consistently climbing can be difficult if you don’t understand what you’re truly struggling with and which skills need the most work. The GPI analyzes all your matches to illustrate who you are as a player and then provides resources to help you work on your weaknesses.
Live Companion
Get the Ultimate Companion by Your Side
U.GG is nice for researching builds outside of game but doesn’t provide guidance during or after your match. The Live Companion provides features like imported builds, in-game overlays, and Post Game analysis. This is much more convenient, especially for beginners.

Track Champion Stats Patch by Patch
Although U.GG champion pages provide a solid amount of information, it is missing some key insights. Mobalytics makes it easy to track how a champion’s win rate, pick rate, and ban rate are changing patch by patch with easy-to-understand graphs.

See Everything There Is to Know About Your Match History
Similar to U.GG, our Profile allows summoners to track their match history, but there is much more. With Mobalytics, you can dive into more detailed insights like a daily activity calendar, played with stats, and specific matchup stats.

Tier Lists Informed by Data and Expertise
U.GG’s tier list is organized by stats. This can be useful for many players but can be difficult to understand for others who may not understand the context of the numbers. The Mobalytics tier list gives as many stats but also provides expert recommendations with explanations.
