"Empty vessels make the most sound”. This is a prevalent English idiom that showcases the hidden #potential of gaining the wisdom of silence. Silence does not merely mean staying numb but speaking #thoughtfully with sufficient #information and an #appropriate #assumption. This comes as a result of focused listening.
To be precise, silence defines how you can enrich yourself by listeningmore, analyzing your situations, being aware of your emotions, and exploring your reactions. This,in turn, brings success and happiness to your life. Contrary, when there is no inner substance, whenthere is no self-analysis, and when there is no knowledge about a subject, all you do is keepblabbering like the sound of an empty vessel.
Going by the real-world examples, many take conversations like a competition where the one whospeaks the longest and loudest stands as a winner. The fact remains that during such competitivediscussions, you are just interrupting, insisting, persuading, and passing sarcastic remarks to proveyour point of view and your superiority.
