Les mises à niveau ne seront pas nécessaires pour tous les utilisateurs. La variante Taclane E-100 offre des fonctionnalités de sécurité similaires à la version Classic, mais augmente considérablement le débit à 160 Mbps. Des versions en développement offriront des débits encore plus élevés, atteignant jusqu'à 1 Gbps.
