How to fix steam trade error 25? ›

Sometimes when you experience the errors 15, 16 or 25 and the trade didn't go through, you have to restart Steam and try to accept it again. #15, 25 or 26: Your or the bot's backpack is full. Free some space in your backpack or use another bot that isn't full. It also can mean that the items were already traded away.

This error means that your inventory is too full to accept the trade offer. If you are Free to Play by default you will only have 50 slots available in your inventory. Premium users have a default of 300 slots (which can be expanded up to a maximum of 3000).

If you get the classic "There was an error accepting this trade offer. Please try again later", this error is because of an issue with your steam client. A quick restart should solve the problem. This error is caused when you are not logged into steam or your session has expired.
