Is Accel worth it TDS? ›

For the mid and late-game, the Accelerator can be extremely powerful. Multiple Level 3-4 Accelerators are a cost-efficient way to get through the mid-game. The Farm or other towers that generate income like the Golden Cowboy are recommended, as the Accelerator's upgrades are quite expensive.

While this is a cost-effective way to triumph maps, this is not the best tower in terms of DPS. In terms of DPS and range, the Engineer, Ranger and Accelerator are far more effective. However, they are more expensive and have their own limitations, like placement limits.
