From the initial estimate with Mac all the way until the last tree hit the ground, these guys were fantastic. It’s amazing to see a crew work with such cohesion. They clearly take pride in their work and the crew led by Forman Ben showed up early and stayed until the job was done. We had 7 large trees over and around our house removed. The tactful approach between John 80’ up in the lift, Ben operating the crane, and the rest of the crew was exceptional. They exemplify what a team is and how it should work. They have all the best equipment and work with incredible cohesion. More importantly, these men showed up with a great attitude and work ethic and got the job done safely and extremely efficiently. We are shocked they got it all done in one day. Nothing more than a leaf touched our house and they cleaned up everything. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

We had some trees removed, limbs removed and branches elevated, forestry mulching, and got rid of some extra logs/brush. They know what they're doing, are judicial in their recommendations, and are fair in their prices. The team brought out some serious equipment the day of and did a lot of work for the day we allotted. Every single person on the team was professional, kind, and provided amazing service. The job went more than well. JR communicated with me throughout the entire process...and your other two employees were SO proficient doing their jobs--from manipulating the tractor through our property to remove the sawed-off tree & debris to blowing ALL of the fallen leaves away from our driveway and lawn. Wow, what an experience watching Timber Works Tree Care cut down 5 large oak trees on my lot. Knowing that tree removal is complicated and dangerous, this company safely and efficiently removed the trees. The equipment that was used was amazing. Joe, Mac, and the rest of the Timber Works VA team did a great job felling two trees, grinding four stumps, and trimming branches over my house. This included a large black walnut tree just a foot away from my garage and my neighbor's fence. Great price, easy to work with, and fast. Timber Works Tree Care is the most professional and best tree contractor I have contracted with over my 40yrs of home ownership. The are responsive, friendly, organized and do excellent work! From the first phone call through the estimate, scheduling, execution and cleanup they were prompt, attentive and easy to work with. Our job for them was to fell four mature trees about 50ft tall, remove all debris, grind the four stumps and remove a nearby brush pile in our yard. I figured it was likely an all-day job. Well, they sent three people with a chipper, a brush hauler, and a stump grinder. Ryan, Sean, and Ben got the job done in 3.5hrs!! Plus, they wore helmets with face shields and built-in ear protection/radio w/ mics so that they could work safely and efficiently together. Did I mention the price was reasonable, too?! The whole thing was so smooth I almost wish I had more work for them! And we certainly will go to them fist for any future tree-related needs. Thank you, Timber Works!

Timber Works Tree Care took down a huge tree right next to my house and did an awesome job taking the tree down and clearing all of the debris. You cannot tell a tree was even there. They were fast and professional. Cost a little more but well worth the price. I highly recommend them. Great people and they know exactly what they are doing.

Timber Works did an excellent job trimming off some dead branches and artfully removing a section of tree that had died off. It was a job that required considerable care as a fountain was directly under the tree and at risk of being damaged. I also appreciate that they cleaned up the area they worked on and removed all the dead branches from our property - all at a very fair price. I highly recommend them!

Great service from the company. We had an arborist come out first to evaluate the property and then had Timber Works come out and evaluate and both had the same recommendations. Timber Works actually identified a cluster of trees that didn't outwardly look like it had any issues, but was very clearly rotted on the inside once it was taken down.The work crew showed up on time with all of the equipment and personnel necessary to take down the identified trees. Everyone was extremely conscientious of making sure that no property was damaged during their operations.Very communicative from the first step through scheduling and then the actual tree removal. Followed up immediately with emails to make sure we were happy with the service. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality tree company. They ended up taking down 8 trees and doing some cabling on some existing trees to keep as much as the forest preserves as possible, so it was not a small job.

We recently had Timber works out to our home for a second time due to the great job they did for us the first time we needed some trees removed.The skills, experience, and professionalism of the crew was stellar. This 2nd trip, we had them remove a very old, extremely tall tree overhanging our shed. It was a very dangerous and tricky job as the shed is adjacent to a very deep crevasse. The equipment used, the crews coordination of the job, and seamlessness of the removal was amazing to witness. It was a display of their skills and experience. Timber Works has completed two jobs for us including large tree removal (declining White Pines 80 plus feet tall), Black Walnut pruning for health canopy (large 80 plus feet trees), brush/invasives clearing with a forestry muncher, and stump removal. Their pricing has been highly competitive, but their work ethic (showing up consistently on time), and work ethic (constantly moving, and cleaning as they go) has been unmatched in the half-a-dozon or so tree and landscape companies we have had work on our small farm is Leesburg, VA. This was an excellent company to work with from start to finish. We bought a new house with a lot of trees and were able to get Mac out before we moved in to assess the trees and give us recommendations for pruning and removal. We got an estimate the same day and were able to schedule the same week. We had six trees removed and the rest of the trees pruned and thinned. The guys were efficient and left the property clean. On 10/10/2023, a Timber Works Tree Care team consisting of Benjamin Runion, Shawn Vance and Ryan Roquet arrived at my residence at 0730. They were challenged to cut and removed several massive trees that fell across my newly paved driveway blocking traffic to my home. From the start this team definitely displayed outstanding teamwork, proficiency at their professions and were always safety conscious. At no time did I see them waste time not even for well deserved breaks. I would definitely highly recommend this company for hire.

I’ve used Timber Works twice now. First time, they took down a large, dead tree that was too close to the house. They employed state of the art robotics and had it down quickly and safely. Had enough confidence in them to call them back. Second job was taking out dead evergreens (thanks to the deer), tall, overgrown or dead trees threatening the fence and shed, and maintenance of other trees on the property. Again, the crew took care of everything and by noon were done. They took away the debris, leaving the property clean.I recommend Timber Works highly. Entire process, from estimate to finish, was just excellent! The job was to remove 8 large dead/dying trees (with 2 largest near house), forest mulch roughly an acre of fairly dense young trees, clear brush from near house and along ~500’ long driveway, etc. The Timber Works team was equipped with the equipment and skills needed to do the job both safely and efficiently. Timber Works did a great job of removing a half dead Maple tree in our backyard. They worked quickly and efficiently, paying attention to safety. They even cleared up the leaves that were there before they got to us. I would definitely recommend them!

The Timber Works crew removed two large oak trees and ground one of the stumps on my property. They started promptly at 8 am and were finished by 1 pm. They were very professional, safety conscious and used modern, well-maintained equipment which allowed the safe removal of these large, tall trees which were close to my house and my neighbor's house. All debris was chipped and hauled away and cleanup of the area was great. I couldn't be more satisfied with their work.

Our HOA (Frederick Woods) used TimberWorks to cut and remove 7 sizable trees. They also ground the stumps. In addition, we had them clear both sides of a drainage swale for several hundred feet. It was thick with mature brush. We then these guys show up it's a tree removal army. They show up with all the equipment needed to do the job and plenty of manpower. It is obvious that safety is paramount with this group. Everyone onsite utilizes proper PPE. They have done work for me personally and quite frankly, I can't imagine using anyone else. THANKS FOR A JOB WELL DONE!

We needed a large oak removed that was in the middle of our driveway within 15 ft of our electrical box and about 30 ft from our house so our concern was safety. While Timberworks quote was slightly higher than the rest, George explained how the job would be done and what equipment would be used and did it in a professional manner. We made the right choice because it was clear that his team knew what they were doing and did a great job. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

These guys are rock stars. They showed up with the best equipment, a team of at least 6 or 7 guys, and did everything we asked them to do. Removed several trees, stump grinded 2 trees, and trimmed back a tree from the house. They wore safety equipment and did everything including clean up in just a few hours. I've never seen tree people be so high tech. They were communicating with headsets under their helmets. So great!

I can’t express enough the professionalism of the team at Timber Works Tree care. From the first day I met with Mac to go over the options, the professional advice, the emails with the office team and finally the team itself that arrived on time as stated to remove the three dead trees, four other trees; including ones for my neighbor. All of which were in a shared back yard with limited access.
The removal team was safety oriented, fast, had great communication with all my neighbors and did an amazing job. They took care to do as little damage as possible to my neighbor’s yard, cleaned up more that I expected and was done and out before we knew it.
I highly recommend calling them for you tree removal and other tree care needs. Their prices for 8 trees, that were 60’ in height, totaled less than another company’s quote for just two trees. Adding to this, all our emails and calls were answered through out the whole process in less than 48 hours.

Because my young children were enthralled by the machinery, we watched most of the project, and we got to see everyone working seamlessly and efficiently to carefully dissect the tree without damaging anything. It was an awesome example for my kids to see. They cleaned up the site beyond what I expected and left us a beautiful pile of wood chips for our garden. On the way out, one of the crew noticed a shrub stump I'd been working on removing on my own and offered to yank it out. He managed that in about 30 seconds! We used Timber Works to remove a 35 foot Oak tree and grind the stump in our front yard. It was located next to utility lines and great care was taken to avoid any damage. I got three bids to remove an Oklahoma Redbud from my front yard. Timber Works was actually the lowest by far, which initially made me a little leery because the other two were fairly close. After meeting Jack, the owner, it sealed the deal. He told me the price up front, looked me in the eye and gave me a firm handshake. My wife said the crew wasted no time whatsoever, cleaned up very well and didn’t leave a trace. If I had more work for them, I wouldn’t hesitate, and neither should you. Very professional outfit, very easy to deal with, and I saved $500.

Timber Works trimmed/removed overgrown branches on three trees in my yard. It was obvious they know their business from the moment a representative came by to give an estimate on the work I needed. He recognized the importance of removing branches for a healthier tree rather than “topping off” as another less experienced company suggested. Their estimate was also significantly less than the other company. Work was performed exactly as promised and my yard was cleaned of all debris. I will definitely call on them again in the future.
