Disney Dreamlight Valley 2024 Roadmap

In 2024, tons of new content will arrive in the Valley for those who already own the base game, as Disney Dreamlight Valley is now officially out of early access. Throughout 2024, players can expect new characters, new Star Paths, and even new Realms to explore!

Upcoming 2024 Updates

Below is a list of all known upcoming updates that are set to launch throughout the remainder of 2024.

New Characters: Timon and Pumbaa - October 2024

In October 2024, two beloved characters from Disney's The Lion King universe join the Valley: Timon and Pumbaa. This time, you'll need to team up with The Forgotten to help Timon and Pumbaa clear out an invasion of Night Mites, a new type of enemy connected somehow with Night Thorns and The Forgetting.

New Mystery Characters - Late 2024

The latest 2024 Content Roadmap update hints at new content revolving around Sally from the Nightmare Before Christmas Universe. It is unclear if this will be a new set of clothing inspired by this character or if the character itself will come to the Valley.

2024 Updates

Below is a list of all major updates and expansions that have since launched in Disney Dreamlight Valley in 2024.

A Rift in Time Paid Expansion

Disney Dreamlight Valley is officially coming out of its early access period, which means big things are coming to the Valley! In Holiday 2023 and early 2024, new content for Disney Dreamlight Valley will be split into free content arriving for the base game and the new "A Rift in Time" paid expansion.

New Character: Jack Skellington

That's right, the Pumpkin King is arriving in the Valley on December 5, 2023. Recruit Jack Skellington to your Valley to fish and garden with the scariest skeleton in Halloween Town.

Winter Disney Princess Dreamstyles

This December, you can also expect to find some Disney Princess Dreamstyles perfect for the chilly winter months. Keep an eye out for Belle's iconic winter look as we head into the holiday season!

Valleyverse "Multiplayer" Mode

With the new Valleyverse multiplayer mechanic, friends can come visit your Valley, exchange items, and shop from each other's Scrooge McDuck store.

New Realm: Monsters Inc

Everyone's favorite scream team is just around the corner! Characters Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc are set to arrive with their own Realm in Late Winter 2024.

New Character: Princess Tiana

Hope you've got some beignets ready, because Tiana is coming to town! Princess Tiana will be ready to arrive in your Valley sometime in Summer 2024.

Cross-platform Gameplay

In the game's next update, cross-platform multiplayer will finally be available for PlayStation. Allowing PlayStation users to play with friends who have other platforms.

Updates to Scrooge McDuck's Store

Improvements have been made to the algorithm and layout of Scrooge McDuck's Store so players can better see unique furniture. Moreover, some updates have added more items, and new clothing may be added in the future.

Disney Dreamlight Valley A Rift in Time Paid Expansion

Disney Dreamlight Valley's first expansion is here, and it's massive. With the addition of this expansion, releasing on December 5, 2023, you can travel to a whole new world outside of the Valley. Welcome to the Eternity Isle.

The Eternity Isle is a new area separate from the Valley, with its own areas to explore and object count for decoration. Some aspects of this new world resemble locations from other Disney classics, such as Agrabah or the lost city of Atlantis.

Eternity Isle will also introduce a new tool: the Royal Hourglass. Use this magical staff to turn back the sands of time to unveil lost treasures and more.

You can expect to find plenty of new friends and villains alike in Eternity Isle, including:

• Eve
• Rapunzel
• Gaston

The Eternity Isle will have its own set of quests and adventures unique to the area, and this new content will release in batches over time to stagger out your journey.

Disney Dreamlight Valley 2023 Roadmap

The first half of 2023 is shaping up to be a doozy for Disney Dreamlight Valley, just teeming with new content to explore. Here is just a sneak peek at what you can expect to find in updates during early 2023:

Pride of the Valley Update 4 (April 5, 2023)

Disney Dreamlight Valley's fourth free major content update, Pride of the Valley, releases on April 5, 2023. Disney Dreamlight Valley New Early Summer Content

While the contents of the Disney Dreamlight Valley update for early summer 2023 have yet to be fully detailed, we can guess that this update might feature a new story beat in the Forgotten Lands that "unveils the secret to the Forgetting," and may even debut another Disney character. Judging by the pumpkin-themed concept art, the "princess" running into Disney Dreamlight Valley this summer may be none other than Cinderella. This new character is still unconfirmed, however.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Multiplayer Update

Is multiplayer finally coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley? Yes, the Disney Dreamlight Valley team has officially announced that multiplayer is in the works and that the plan is to implement multiplayer in the second half of 2023.

The Lion King - Update 1 (October 19, 2022)

Set to arrive on October 19, 2022, the first major content update for Disney Dreamlight Valley will feature characters from The Lion King, most notably, Scar, who will play a key role in the game's main storyline. In addition to The Lion King's arrival, players can expect several new quests as the main story continues, the ability to interact with animal companions, along with fixes for over 40 bugs and issues, which were teased via the official Disney Dreamlight Valley Twitter account.

Here are just some of the fixes players that players can expect from the first content update:

• Preventing progress loss
• Missing Founder's Pack rewards
• Console crashes
• PS4 optimization
• Lightning VFX
• Quest: Unable to collect Lightbulb
• Quest: Items stuck on the store's counter
