Customize the noise control button

You can press the noise control button on the right headphone of AirPods Max to switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode.

Transparency Mode is basically a compression feature, which means when loud sounds occur, it softens them and amplifies soft sounds. In the test box, Transparency Mode did soften loud sounds, however, it did not amplify soft sounds to audible levels for a mild to moderate hearing loss.
