We’ve treated the five-year bond in the same way as a savings account, ignoring the market price of the bond, so the average annual return is equal to the CAGR. The risk of not achieving the expected return was zero because the expected return was locked in.The standard deviation is also zerobecause the CAGR was the same as the annual returns.
