FAQs

Is there a trick to the slot machines in Pokémon Red? ›

Tip: How to Win the Celadon City Slot Machines

To win big, play each machine 4 times, and if it hits 2 or more, then stick with that one, because it's probably hot. If the slow machine forces you really close to a 777 or Bar Bar Bar it will probably give you one or the other soon.

Should I do Celadon Gym or Game Corner first? ›

After beating celadon gym, you're supposed to beat team rocket in the celadon game corner. After that you have the option of going to Saffron to take on Silph co, or you can go to Fuschia city to take on Koga. Doesn't really matter if you do the 4th Gym or Game Corner first.

Which Pokémon slot machine has the best odds? ›

Best machine is bottom right - it has ID 1. The game assign a lucky ID when you enter the building. This means that 1 of the machines will have a greater odds.

Is there a cheat for slot machines? ›

Last, but not least, you can cheat a slot machine by making light. Most slot machines in land-based casinos still use a sensor to determine how many coins or bills are being inserted. By interrupting these sensors with a pocket laser light you can make the machine think you're inserting coins or bills while you aren't.

Is Celadon Game Corner rigged? ›

I have tested three so far, all work like this. Proof that it's rigged. I would also just like to say, after continuing to play this for a while I have noticed on a turn that you win a jackpot, the first row is pre-selected regardless of where you actually stop it.

What is the best Pokémon to beat the Celadon gym? ›

Pokémon Let's Go: Celadon City Gym and Erika Gym Battle

Once you're inside, Fire-, Flying-, and Bug-Type Pokémon are your best bet, whilst Psychic will also help with the part-Poison-type Pokémon as well.

What to do after defeating Erika in Fire Red? ›

Once you beat Erika, you get your hands on the Rainbow Badge, allowing Pokémon up to level 50 to listen to you. She also gives to you TM53 - Mega Drain. After defeating the Celadon City Gym, head on over to the Game Corner again and take on Team Rocket's Hideout if you haven't already!

What is the best slot machine to play in Pokemon Fire Red? ›

You may be able to play a slot a couple of times, and if it pays out both times, it might be "hot" and worth continuing on. For Fire Red/Leaf Green there has been speculation that the machine on the far left, directly below the woman in that aisle has slightly better odds.

Is there a secret to winning on slot machines? ›

The truth is that there is no trick to slot machines. They provide random results based on set mechanics and it all comes down to luck. With that being said, not all games are the same, so picking the right options is key, and you can still change the size of the bet throughout the session for better results.

What should I evolve my Eevee into Fire Red? ›

Accepted Answer

If you had Venusaur then I would suggest Vaporeon and if you had Blastoise it would be Flareon but Jolteon is your best choice. It is a fast Pokemon that is much better than Pikachu and can easily destroy Blastoise. Next is Gyarados as it is one of the best Water types in the game.

How to get dratini in fire red? ›

Dratini can only be caught in the Safari Zone. You don't need to worry about which Pokémon you will use to fight, as there are no battles in the Safari Zone.

Is there a trick to picking slot machines? ›

It's all a matter of chance. There are no blackjack- or video poker-like strategies that can cut into the house's mathematical edge. Odds on slot machines are unchanging. There's nothing you can do legally that will change the outcome, though scam artists sometimes have succeeded until caught, arrested and imprisoned.

What is the secret to playing slot machines? ›

A major secret to playing slots for jackpots is that you should seek out must-hit jackpot prizes. Playing these slots when their prizes are close to hitting will help you improve your odds of winning. Waiting until the time is right will also help you conserve your bankroll.

Is there a pattern to slot machines? ›

CHANCE ONLY determines the outcome of any game, there is no play method or pattern that effects whether a game is winning or losing. Also, because outcomes are CHANCE ONLY, machines do not adjust to a string of winning or losing games causing them to be "due" for a win/loss.
